About The Northern Brights Family
At Northern Brights, we encourage creative thinking so it's no surprise that our little staff is a collection of artsy, creative, skilled wonderful women of all ages!

Jhonelle, my daughter, a student at the local college, assists in production and the retail store. She is a Travel and Tourism major and has been all over the world at the age of 21!

Kateri, also a student, found a niche here as she works her way through college with a major in Psychology. She is the technological-geek-squad girl and helped build this very site you are looking at!!!

There are also several behind-the-scene masters who assist in the daily sewing details.

I started sewing and creating in high school. That was the 1960's, an inspring era for a young budding designer to grow up in, especially in southern California! My husband Tom and I have been married for more than two decades and we make our nest on a 200 acre farm with three cats, one dog, and ten cows. Bright Blessings! Paige.

About Northern Brights Studio
The production studio for the Northern Brights accessory collections is in the back of the retail store, in the same hundred year old building. The studio is home to mountains of fabric, bins of lace, ribbons, sequins and trims, buckets of leather and wool scraps, umpteen sewing machines, huge work tables and cubbies full of inspiration.

Paige welcomes tour groups, up to about fifty will fit comfortably. A tour can include a short talk by Paige about her business and the history of the building and the area, refreshments and snacks, and of course time for shopping! About the Northern Brights Store
The Northern Brights boutique opened in spring of 2007 in a hundred year old building in the Historic Arts District of downtown Saint Cloud, Minnesota. It was a six month journey restoring the building where the store is in the front and the production studio is in the rear. We exposed the original tin ceilings, refurbished the hardwoood maple floors, and hung ceiling fans and crystal chandeliers.

The store is an eclectic mix of the Northern Brights accessory collections, handcrafted jewelry, one-of-a-kind artisans pieces, handmade clothing, fair trade items and other assorted lines of jewelry, scarves, handbags, clothing, gifts and cards. The 13-foot antique counter that the cash register sits on was salvaged from a turn-of-the-century dry goods store in Hibbing, Minnesota. It wouldn't be unusual to see earrings hanging from birdcages, handbags displayed on a garden arbor, or garments hung from wrought-iron screens.
